Anyone who lives in Moraira and the surrounding area (or stays here often) already knows: this is a region where dining out is part of everyday life. Not just because of the quality, but also because of the variety. From a simple pizza to a romantic dinner or a perfect paella with friends.
I regularly get asked by clients: “Where do you like to eat?”
So today I’m sharing a list of my personal favourites in Moraira and nearby.
No marketing spiel — just places I personally enjoy sitting down at.
Sometimes you just want it to be good, cosy and uncomplicated.
For pizza (and an Aperol Spritz) I most often go to Gima or Farini. Crispy bases, fresh ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for an informal evening with friends, family or after a busy workday.

Fancy something lighter or more refined? Then Beniasia and La Vera are absolute recommendations. Beautiful presentations, fresh flavours and consistently high quality. Perfect for anyone who wants something different from the classic Mediterranean cuisine.

A life on the Costa Blanca without paella? Impossible.
El Cañis and Chamizo are go-to places for rice dishes for me. Authentic, generously served and ideal for long lunches where time seems to slow down a little.

If it should be a bit more special — a birthday, visitors or simply in the mood for a stylish night — then Amantes is one of my favourite addresses. Lovely setting, refined cuisine and just that little extra experience.

Tapas here are not just for eating, but for sharing. And there is only one address for that: Vista Ifach is the kind of place where you easily keep ordering – different small plates, a good glass of wine, a view and atmosphere. Ideal for a relaxed, sociable evening.

For meat lovers, Mesa is a regular stop. Their chateaubriand is one of the best in the region for me. Perfectly cooked, nicely presented and always a safe choice if you really want to treat someone to a great meal.

Sometimes you just crave comfort food.
Casa de la Pasta is one of those places where you know what you’re getting: honest Italian cuisine, generous portions and flavours that never disappoint.

For a romantic evening I like to drive to Altea.
Bocca al Lupo combines atmosphere, location and cuisine in a way that works perfectly for a date night. A place where conversations naturally last longer and dessert is not an unnecessary luxury.

Yes — that’s part of life here too.
At ’t Mosselhuis in Calpe I go when I fancy Belgian classics, perfectly prepared. Mussels, stew, familiar flavours… ideal if you feel a bit homesick or want guests to taste something recognisable.

Good fries are rarer than you think.
That’s why I happily drive to Tía Sara in Jalón. For me one of the best spots in the region when it comes to truly great fries. Simple, but worth gold.

What makes this region so special is not only the climate or the landscape, but also the everyday life. Dining out here is not an exception, but a way of living. With friends, family, neighbours or new people who come here looking for their place.
And often it starts for our clients right there: on a terrace, in a restaurant, with the feeling… “I could live here.”
